What is TrustPool?

TrustPool mainly helps communities run contributions or fundraising pools, peer-to-peer rotational savings groups and ensures automated wallet payments and pool members accountability in one secure app.

Who can use TrustPool?

Churches, schools, alumni groups, teams, associations / unions, families, and other trusted communities can use TrustPool to collect, manage, and disburse funds transparently.

What is a contribution pool?

A contribution pool let people raise money together towards a goal, project, event, donation or need. Members can pay by wallet, Mobile Money, or card.

What is a susu pool?

A susu pool is a rotating savings group where members contribute on a schedule and each confirmed member automatically receives a payout when it is their turn.

Can non-community members contribute?

Yes. Non-community members can find a community and pay into contribution pools without seeing private pool details or joining the community.

How are payouts handled?

Contribution pool heads or creators can send raised funds to a member or a user as well as directly to their mobile money number. Susu payouts go directly to the recipient’s mobile money wallet when it their turn. They system automatically disburse these funds.

Can a pool continue without a deadline?

Yes. No-deadline contribution pools can stay active indefinitely, accept ongoing contributions, and allow pool heads to send partial funds when needed.

What happens when a contribution pool reaches its deadline?

The pool closes, stops accepting payments, and waits for the pool creator or head to send the raised funds to the chosen recipient.

How does TrustPool keep records transparent?

Payments, successful contributions, disbursements, payouts, and pool history are recorded so members can track all activities in the pool.

What payment methods are supported?

Users can pay with their Mobile Money, bank card or TrustPool wallet (when they have enough balance.) depending on the payment option they choose.

What if my wallet balance is too low?

TrustPool notifies you if your wallet balance is not enough, so you can add funds or choose Mobile Money/Card instead.

Do users receive notifications?

Yes. TrustPool supports push notifications for important actions like pool invites, approvals, payments, payouts, and chat messages.

Can members chat inside a pool?

Yes. Pool members can send messages, reply, react, copy, and manage their own messages inside pool chats.

What is Trust Score?

Trust Score reflects a member’s reliability based on actions like KYC verification, on-time payments, defaults, and pool behavior.

Is identity verification required?

TrustPool supports KYC verification to help communities know their members.

Can community heads manage members?

Yes. Community and pool heads can invite, approve, remove, and manage members based on their role and permissions.

Can I withdraw from my wallet?

Yes. Users can withdraw from their TrustPool wallet to a registered or another validated mobile money number.

How does TrustPool confirm payments and transfers?

TrustPool uses payment provider callbacks and verification checks so completed payments and disbursements are recorded accurately.
